Care & Assistance

The diaconate is a word and deed ministry of mercy, justice and service. It is a group of men (deacons) and women (deaconesses) that serve the needs of the church (Acts 6:1-7). The diaconate focuses on providing meals to those in need, caring for the physical building and grounds of the church and helping members of the church and neighborhood.

    Assistance Request

The Diaconate is here to share God’s resources together as a family. Please reach out if you are struggling to have enough food, pay your bills, take care of your home, or are in a challenging circumstance.

This request is for members or regular attenders of Grace Chapel.

  • Communion table set with a bowl, pitcher and chalice

    Mercy Meals

Our Mercy Meals ministry strives to provide meals upon the birth of a child, a death in the family, illness, injury or similar events to help our brothers and sisters at Grace Chapel get through a difficult time.

    Financial Mentoring

If you would like someone to walk along side and help think through financial issues like budgeting, debt, bills, savings, tithing and more, we would love to help. Someone from our Diaconate will meet with you to discuss the financial issues you're thinking about to help add clarity and direction.

    Neighbor Assistance

Request financial assistance for a neighbor or friend who is outside of our Grace Chapel community. Your “neighbor” might live right next to you or be someone who lives near our church in the Near South or Everett neighborhoods. Our hope is for Grace Chapel people to see a need in the people around them and ask their church family to help out.
